Hi, I am Yash Mittal. I am MS Research student in Data Science domain advised by Prof. Uttam Kumar.

I have done my B.Tech in Computer Science from University College of Engineering, RTU, Kota. My undergraduate research advisor was Prof. S.C. Jain.

My research interests lie in the general area of machine learning, particularly in computer vision, reinforcement learning, NLP, as well as their applications in agriculture and geospatial domains.

I have 5+ years of experience in the field of data science and have worked in different industry domains like healthcare, retail, telecom, etc. I am working as Data Scientist in a product based SAAS company named Riversand (acquired by Syndigo). Recently I have worked on building deduplication capabilities in the MDM product.

I am winner of Rakuten Deep Learning Challenge among 2655 participants organized by Hackerearth in year 2018. I like to read about new technologies and gadgets. Chip and Digit are my favorite magazines which keep me updated. In my free time I also mentor students to develop data science capabilities.
