My research interest is in the discipline of Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System. I have earned M. Tech from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Department of Space, Dehradun.

I have worked as Research Assistant in Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun. Currently I am pursuing my PhD from IIIT Bangalore.

My primary focus is on Land use / Land cover change analysis and its impact on urban environment. Anthropogenic changes are bringing about massive impact on our environment which needs to be studied and analysed.

Besides this I am an art lover who appreciates creativity in the form of paintings, sketches and crafts. I like to read books which are interesting, motivational and enjoyable. I love listening to music.
