Shruti Vadrevu

I am passionate about space research and the power of satellite data in understanding our changing planet. My work primarily focuses on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and its applications in Earth observation. I am interested in integrating AI and geospatial data to extract meaningful features and enhance remote sensing analysis.

I have worked on:

1. Airborne NISAR data
Analyzing Kerala forest fires and floods using Google Earth Engine
2. Exploring different SAR datasets from multiple space agencies across various frequencies to understand their properties and behavior in vegetation and land cover studies
3. Algorithm development and evaluation for SAR data analysis (focus of my M.Tech thesis)

Alongside my research, I enjoy dancing, writing, and hosting events all of which give me creative energy and keep me connected with people.

I also co-founded Echo, a community initiative to bring people together through curated events, games, and conversations, aiming to make adulting easier.
